Arts University Bournemouth BA (Hons) Fine Art level 4 students were given the opportunity to make work in response to MoDiP and wider notions of 'the museum'. They were encouraged to treat MoDiP as a Wunderkammer, a source of inspiration.
This is the third year that students have undertaken this project and the responses have produced the usual diversity of approach, but all can be seen as having been influenced by museology.
Issues of hierarchy of display, authenticity, methods of recording, classification have all had an influence on current art practice and can be seen as having influenced each of the works in this exhibition.
