Description
A leather Black Jack or tankard with silver mounts, handle and engraved disc with the initials TM, c 17th century. The leather has been stiched to form the tankard and lined with silver. The silver mounts at the rim and base of the tankard and the engraved disc are edged with a pierced trefoil design and simple engraved pattern. This item forms part of the Worshipful Company of Horners collection.
