Description
A cream coloured brush back with a thin pink coloured layer separating the top from the lower, drilled surface. Rectangular in shape the brush has concave corners and a slightly domed top. Made from cellulose nitrate in imitation of ivory, the brush back is thought to have been made by Addis, circa early to mid 20th century and is filled to give it weight. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
