Nova cup and saucer

Description

A Nova tea cup and saucer with its distinctive two colour decoration. Manufactured by Ekco and injection moulded from SAN, this set was designed by D. Harman Powell in the 1960s and was winner of the Duke of Edinburgh award for elegant design. The dimensions below refer to the cup, the saucer has a diameter of 145mm. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
