Beetleware cruet

Description

A Beetleware salt, pepper and mustard pot cruet set with a distinctive art deco design and dating from the 1930s. All three pieces have a hexagonal shape and are made of green and orange compression moulded urea formaldehyde. The salt and pepper pots measure 70mm in height, 37mm diameter at the base narrowing to 20mm at the top. The mustard pot is 45mm in height with a diameter of 58mm at the widest point, including the hinge, narrowing to 40mm at the base. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
