Quickmix Major food mixer

A Quickmix Major manual food mixer from the 1950s comprising a screw lidded container with internal ridges and fins inside the lid and base. It is made of compression moulded urea formaldehyde and has a rubber seal. The patent application was placed in 1947 by Gerald Arthur Barton and accepted in 1949. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
