Tansy coat

Description

A faux fur coat, with a printed floral decoration and press stud and hook and eye fastening beneath a velvet tie belt. Designed by Hannah Weiland of Shrimps circa 2024. The faux fur is made from 40% Sorona and 60% Modacrylic. The lining is made from polyester with 60% recycled content. Shrimps was started by Weiland in 2013 after attending The London College of Fashion. It became famous for its signature brightly coloured faux fur coats. Sorona is partially plant based. It is resistant to the adverse effects of UV rays that cause fibres to break down over time, and in this way it helps to lengthen the life of the garment.
