Cycloc Solo

A wall mounted bicycle storage device made from injection moulded polypropylene. Designed by Andrew Lang, circa 2006, the Solo was Cycloc's first product. The kit comprises the main cone-like section, with protective rubber contact points, on which a bicycle is hung, an optional spacer for use with wide handlebars, an insert panel to conceal the fixings, three metal mounting bolts with nuts and washers, and a Knog cable lock with three keys anad wrist coil. It can be used to store a bike in a vertical or horizontal position and has space in the centre in which to store accessories. The Solo has won many awards including those from Design Week, D&AD, Eurobike, Aktiv Radfahren, Horners Award and Plastics Industry Award. It is available in six different colours, and was designed to be used in spaces such as the home, office or in a retail environment. Measurements given include the spacer.
