Fiskars Renew recycled scissors

A pair of Renew recycled scissors manufactured by Fiskars, Finland. Introduced in 2021, the handles are injection moulded in a biocomposite consisting of 80% post consumer recycled (PCR) plastics and cellulose fiber using leftovers from the Finnish wood industry. As a result, the colour of each example varies, having a grey/brown/green hue with light brown spots that are characteristic of the cellulose fibers. The blades use recycled stainless steel and all of the materials can be recycled at end-of-life.
