A set of two, transparent, green coloured Kite shelves, injection moulded in a thermoplastic technopolymer (possibly polycarbonate), by Spanish designer and architect Patricia Urquiola for Kartell in 2015. The exterior surface of the shelf has a series of vertical, parallel grooves moulded in, whilst the interior surface has horizontal grooves. Together, they give the appearance of a squared geometric pattern. The material is extremely lightweight (light as a kite) but strong, and the shelf wall fixings are attached through the circular middle section. The design adapts easily to all spaces and several can be used to create different arrangements.
