Quicklo

Description

A Quicklo three-tier letter tray comprising three independent trays made from compression moulded phenol formaldehyde that attach or detach to a chromium plated pillar which clamps to the edge of a desk. Thought to have been designed by J. Cook, they were manufactured by Insulators Ltd, of London for patentees Quick Close Bags Ltd. of Holborn, London, circa 1934. It was available in a range of colours. This example is mottled dark brown. Measurements given are for one tray.
