Description
A spherical no-spill beach bucket made from injection moulded high density polyethylene and designed by the design agency Pars ProToto for Quut, Belgium, in 2020. Quut toys are designed for longevity. This non-traditional design beach bucket resembles a beach ball. It has an opening at the top which is surrounded by a soft, flexible silicone collar. The handle of the bucket is made from a textile cord with a hard grip made from injection moulded polystyrene (?). The cord is threaded through a tube which runs from one side of the bucket to the other on the inside. Ballo was awarded bronze at the 2019 European Product Design Award in the category Toy Design.
