Fisher Price record player

Description

A portable Music Box Record Player by Fisher-Price, circa 1970s the outer casing of which is made from injection moulded polystyrene , with an internal music box mechanism, driven by means of a hand wound knob. Tunes are generated by double sided 120mm diameter brightly coloured discs of which only four remain in this example (there were originally five of them). Tunes offered include 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star', 'Edelweiss', 'Camptown Races' and 'London Bridge'. The discs are stored in a compartment next to the carrying handle, but this example is missing the cover.
