Description

One of three Runfloor heavy duty pavers. The Runfloor paver grid is designed to prevent the compaction of gravel or grass in a car park. Thanks to its reinforced structure, Runfloor is very resistant to the typical stress produced by vehicles in motion, such as braking and steering, and provides durability to the parking area. The particular shape of the cells and the thickness of the ribbing produce a higher load-bearing capacity. Thanks to the elasticity of the material, it performs well at low temperatures. The recycled plastic grid provides an economical ground reinforcement and letting grass grow or keeping gravel in place whilst allowing water to flow through to the ground, helping to prevent flooding. Flooding can occur when the ground is hard and compacted due to regular traffic or if a garden is completely paved over. This paver is designed to meet the demands laid down by local government regarding flood alleviation and SuDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) compliance. The pavers link together to make a single reinforced surface. For best results there should be a layer of gravel for drainage, followed by a sand or soil bedding layer, and lastly the grid filled with the same sand or soil, then turf or grass seed.
