A urine monitor, in a sealed packet, with rigid reservoir with alternative ways of attaching the product to the bed, a valve to facilitate emptying the monitor and tubing with non-return valves to help reduce retrograde infection. the emptying tube can be clipped up into the side of the soft bag to ensure against leakage. This monitor won the 2009 DBA Design Effectiveness Gold Award as 'a great example of practical, no frills design, focused on making life easier for the user borne out of strong consultation and research'.
