Sidi Wire Carbon

A pair of black Sidi Wire Carbon cycling shoes used by professional and serious road cyclists. The upper is made of Microfibra Techpro, an Italian made microfibre polyurethane. This highly technical and innovative leather substitute is considered eco-friendly and offers a resistant, stable, light and water resistant material that has been treated to eliminate the onset of moulds or bacteria. The replaceable soft instep closure system has a wide and anatomically curved strap which combines a soft, thermoformed EVA pad which distributes the pressure evenly over the top of the foot. It is adjustable on both sides to make sure the pad sits in the centre. Sidi's Techno-3 PUSH dials make sure the shoes fits properly along the entire length of the foot, the buckle can be serviced and replaced. The PUSH button system lifts the buckle to allow the cyclist to adjust the shoe whilst riding. The replaceable heel retention device can be adjusted and reinforces the top of the heel cup, improving the fit by closing the back of the shoe securely around the riders heel, each side of the heel can be adjusted independently with a screwdriver. The reinforced heel cup keeps the foot in the optimal position and stops the shoe deforming under extreme performance or prolonged pressure. The vent carbon sole features a replaceable polyurethane heelpad, and a toes pad/vent cover to aid walking. The stiff carbon sole provides superior power transfer and the opening/closing vents channel air and dissipate heat to offer 4-season comfort. The carbon sole is handmade in a weave pattern oriented at opposing angles to maximise stiffness while allowing a small degree of flex in the toe area to relieve stress on the plantar tendon and promote circulation. Cleats can be attached to the shoe via the three holes drilled in the sole.
