Description

A large mantilla comb in pearlised white cellulose nitrate simulating mother-of-pearl. This would have been cut from a sheet of cellulose nitrate and hand fretted/finished. The design on the central portion of the heading of this comb represents a bouquet of flowers. It is thought to have been made for the Seville tourist market in Spain, circa 1925-30s
