Description

A Permanote branded memorandum pad made from compression moulded phenol formaldehyde with a wooden rotating paddle around which the note paper is folded. The wooden paddle is held in place by means of a sprung wire metal pin. A roll of paper is stored underneath the raised top end of the note pad, held on a metal spindle with circular screw on ends. A paper calendar is glued to the top section of the note pad dated 1946. There is also a pen rest incorporated in this section. A patent for a more simple version of this object was taken out in 1937 by Harold Julian Wilberforce Raphael of Raphael Insustries Ltd.
