Description

A dark burgundy coloured knitting needles box made from compression moulded phenol formaldehyde. The lid of the box has inch markings along the top edge and a needle gauge punched centrally along its length for needle sizes 00 to 16. The legend 'Knitting needles' is moulded along the lower edge. Contained in the box are two pairs of knitting needles. The tradename BEX is moulded on the base. BEX was a tradename used by British Xylonite Ltd.
