Description

A 500ml bottle for Ty Nant Spring Water, 2000s. Ty Nant, the Welsh premier natural mineral water company, launched its PET bottle in 2000. The bottle is an innovative and stylish packaging example within the highly competitive bottled water market and was designed by the internationally renowned designer Ross Lovegrove. The subtle curves of the packaging design create a ripple effect that suggest the fluidity and purity of water. The bottle's styling provides a functional design with distinct aesthetic appeal. The Ty Nant bottle proves to be a popular product and has secured a high profile as designer refreshment, as identified by Arena magazine (October 2003) when the bottle was ranked as the '8th coolest item in the world right now'.
