Description

The Kone hand held vacuum cleaner is the result of a collaboration between Dirt Devil and industrial designer Karim Rashid during the 2000s. This vacuum cleaner has an elegant sculptural form with an illuminating base and is intended to be left on display when not in use. It comprises three main sections, ie. the base, the charging unit and the nozzle and dust collection section, the complete unit forms a pleasing cone shape. The casing is made from injection moulded acrylic. This example is white but other colours were produced. The Kone is retailed under the Vax brand name in the UK.
