Mary Quant poncho

This 1980s, brightly coloured Mary Quant rain poncho is made from 4 different coloured sections of PVC sheeting with the addition of a patch pocket on the front and a draw string hood. The blue, green, black and yellow sections are heat bonded together and trimmed around the entire outer edge with a machine stitched black coloured binding. A large yellow patch pocket is heat bonded to the front of the garment and fastens down with two press studs. The poncho fastens at both sides with two press studs. A Mary Quant logo is printed in black just above the patch pocket. The red coloured hood is bonded to the neckline of the poncho and fastens with two press studs and draws tightly around the face with a black draw string cord finished in white toggles. The poncho also fastens at the neck with two large press studs. When not in use, the poncho can be folded and stored in a yellow coloured draw string bag which is printed with the Mary Quant logo and the words 'Multi-Coloured'. It is understood that these ponchos were retailed at duty free outlets and were available in three colourways.
