Description

A wide cuff bangle or bracelet thought to be made from a single piece of tortoiseshell. The cuff is simple in design and has the distinctive three dimensional effect patterning of a natural shell. It is highly polished on the outer surface and has irregularities in thickness and depth. Probably 20th century.
