Description
This pair of Lasting Sport XOL socks, from the 2000s, are designed for wearing when trekking. They are made predominantly from Coolmax (R), a special four-duct polyester fibre that is naturally water repellent and shaped to optimise capillary action so that water is taken away from the foot to the upper layer of the material very fast, and to provide a larger outside surface, to speed evaporation. It is combined with X-Static (R), a polyamide fibre coated with a layer of silver, which inhibits the growth of bacteria.
