Description

This large lightweight plastic bottle is designed to be carried comfortably whilst running. The oval doughnut design wraps around the hand and has a screw on top with flip up drinking spout. The bottle is made from High Density Polyethylene. The Runaid Bottle was first designed in the early 1980s (using the designer's children's plasticene) and originally held a quarter of a pint. Due to consumer demand to carry more liquid on a run the small bottle was superceded by the larger half- and full-pint versions. The design helps to reduce the tension in the arm experienced when carrying conventional sports bottles, as a lighter grip is required to keep hold of the bottle. This bottle does not have any packaging.
