Description
A boxed biodegradable table set comprising four plates, four bowls and four beakers. The design of each incorporates five fins radiating out from the centre of its under surface. The set is made from powdered bamboo fibre mixed with a water-soluble resin, compressed at a high temperature, and formed to shape. The cardboard box has text explaining the philosophy underpinning the product. The intention is that at the end of its useful life it can be composted. The set was first made in 2005, this example dates from 2007. The dimensions listed are for the beakers.
