Description

A colourful acrylic brooch in the shape of a Cicada bug. The shape has been moulded in an open cast and elements of colour have been added during the moulding process. A brooch fastening has been attached to the rear. The Cicada Jewellery Company was founded in 1973 by Pat Thorton and Nick Osborn in Brighton.
