Classification

Description

The 'Executel' executive unit combines a telephone, directory, diary, notepad, calculator and clock and was designed in the 1980s for office use by CAPA (Cross, Almond and Powell Associates). The unit features push button dialling, automatic dialling of up to 235 stored numbers, rapid dialling, hands-free facility etc. by means of a telephone handset, keyboard and visual display unit. Any data was stored on a mini-cassette. It is thought that this unit had an initial retail price of £1000.
