Description

A Boots Keep Warm plate, designed by Martyn Rowlands in the 1980s. This plate has 3 indentations, an egg cup and a suction base. The egg cup unscrews to allow warm water to be poured into base of the plate to keep food warm. It is made of injection moulded polypropylene and has a plasticised PVC ring on the base to help keep the plate in place on the table. This example is complete with its original box.
