Description

A Viva-Tonal Grafonola record player Model 231 S/No. 12145 with a rectangular bakelite case and hinged lid. The phenol formaldehyde 'play-disc' case was featured on stand at The Gauge and Tool Exhibition held at the New Horticultural Hall, London, 1948. The stand was owned by Turner Bros (Birmingham) Ltd who made the mould which produced the case.
