Description

This blue and white 'Ekco Nova' tableware, comprising 5 each of stacking cups, saucers and plates, dates from the 1960s. It was designed by David Harman Powell for Ekco Plastics, and is made of two stage injection moulded styrene acrylonitrile (SAN). Although originally designed as tableware to be used inside the house many people used it as picnic ware. The dimensions below refer to the cup, the saucer has a diameter of 145mm whilst the side pate is 165mm.
