Koziol

Koziol began as a family run craft business in Erbach, Germany. It was set up in 1912 and specialised, first in pottery and then in ivory carving. In 1928 Berhard Koziol, son of the founder, set up a workshop to explore plastic materials and in 1935 began using a hand-operated injection moulding machine to create decorative items similar to those carved in ivory.

In 1980, Bernhard handed on responsibility to his sons and the product range has gradually become focussed on gifts and gadgets for the home of which those shown here are typical examples. Products are designed both by a variety of independent designers and in-house. All products and their packaging are manufactured in Germany at the Koziol premises. The firm's mission is to produce products that radiate a sense of happiness and are affordable by all.
