Description
A magnifying spy glass set in 3 strengths. The frames are horn, possibly stained with black varnish, and paddle shaped, which pivot back into a protective frame, with brass rivets and washers. The magnifying strengths are +30, +35, +40. Probably used by a jeweller/watchmaker, mid 19th century. This natural plastic item forms part of the Worshipful Company of Horners collection.
