Description

An 18th century snuff mull formed from the curved tip of the horn. The tip end is formed into an animal's head. The lid is hinged to the head in silver. A disc on the lid is inscribed 'GT 1745'. There is evidence that the rim of the mull would have had a silver band - now missing. This natural plastic item forms part of the Worshipful Company of Horners collection.
