Oval brooch with ivory centre

Description

An oval pressed horn brooch set with an ivory centre decorated with a flower, c. early - mid 19th century. The centre is surrounded by a band of 12 dots which is in turn surrounded by a design of 12 triangles radiating out towards the edge. The brooch is set with a metal pin on the back. This natural plastic item forms part of the Worshipful Company of Horners collection.
