Cream-coloured engraved powder horn

Description

A priming horn, c. 1850. The horn is engraved with hatching and pointillist technique. The engravings are of an abstract geometric design, a jug, flowers, a tulip, crescent heart and fan with fruit, and a table with a tumbler, jug and decanter. It is sealed with a wooden ball and cork bung. This natural plastic item forms part of the Worshipful Company of Horners collection.
