Description
A hinged lidded box containing an Eclipse Red Ring razor and a packet of replacement razor blades, from around the 1930s. The box is made from compression moulded phenol formaldehyde and has a sun ray design moulded onto the lid. Both base and top have been designed with indentations to improve grip when opening. The interior of the box is moulded to accommodate the razor and spare blades. Made for James Neill & Co. (Sheffield) Ltd, sole manufacturers of the Eclipse razor.
