Manufactured by Roanoid Ltd and dating to circa 1934. The three fold-out arms can be closed in the centre to form a complete sphere, which also acts as a closure for non-fume purposes. It can be emptied by the two halves being unscrewed. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
