Description

A set of 18 circular buttons, from the 1930s. These buttons are of various sizes and colours and are made of compression moulded urea formaldehyde which has been tumble polished to give a glossy appearance. They were manufactured by Hornflowa, the Hurtzburg family from Czechoslovakia formed the company in 1938, it was eventually taken over by BIP. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
