Description

A circular powder bowl with a push-on lid, circa 1920s. The lid incorporates a recess for a small powder puff, with a screw cover and finial. The whole powder bowl is made of thermoformed cellulose nitrate possibly by British Xylonite. This item forms part of the Plastics Historical Society (PHS) collection.
