Water box. Photo caption: A 2 and a half ton water-box made from reinforced Bakelite polyester resin by Mendip (Chemical Engineering) Ltd. The water-box will be fitted to a condenser for one of the four 120 MW turbine-generators being installed at Blyth 'A' station of the CEGB (consulting engineers: Merz and McLellan) by AEI Turbine-Generator Division.
