Photo caption: Master pattern for the hull of the new 'Crestrider' 14-foot outboard speedboats, which are being made by Tepco Reinforced Plastics Co from reinforced Bakelite polyester resin. The laps along the bottom of the hull, which improve steering response and enhance the boat's performance, are equivalent to a keel skeg one foot square.
