Photo caption: After many years experience of using phenolic thermosetting plastics for such jobs as housing instruments and shrouding steering columns, the motor industry and its suppliers have achieved a standard of design and craftsmanship equal to anything attained in conventional materials which have been worked for hundreds of years. Photo shows: A selection of high quality mouldings produced for the Rootes Group from Bakelite phenolic moulding materials.
