TVR sports car. Photo caption: The TVR 'Grantura' sports car, manufactured by Layton Sports Cars Ltd, of Layton, Blackpool, is capable of speeds in excess of 100 mph. It has been designed to combine the comfort of the larger type of saloon car with a machine capable of competing favourably in racing competitions. The bodywork (which has an exceptional finish), flooring and over 20 separate parts are made from glass fibre reinforced Bakelite polyester resin. Designer: Trevor Wilkinson.
