Jiffy production. Photo caption: The hull of a new all purpose dinghy, the 'JIFFY', produced by Armshire Reinforced Plastics Limited, Slough, Bucks, was specially designed for and produced by the cold press moulding technique. The process, using Bakelite polyester resins, results in a tough hull construction and gives a smooth finish to both interior and exterior surfaces. Picture shows the Jiffy boat released from the male mould in readiness for cleaning and re-loading the mould. This item is part of the MoDiP BXL collection.
