Over 100 visitors - mainly the families of employees - toured BXL Expanded Rubber and Plastics Division's Croydon plant on Friday 18 October. They were guests of the Division at an Open Evening organized to let them know more about the Mitcham Road factory's manufacturing activities and products - the Plastazote range of foamed polyethylene. An exhibition of the wide field of applications for Plastazote throughout Europe (literally from life rafts to helmets) was also staged. The evening ended with dancing in the factory's canteen.
