Description
A large, round bowl, circa early 1950s, made from injection moulded polystyrene with a swirled colouring/pattern, made using a different coloured polystyrene during the injection moulding process. The marks made by the gate, the orifice through which the melted plastic entered the mould cavity, is clearly visible in the centre of the underneath of the bowl.
