Description
This Goblin Teasmade from the 1970s, has an alarm clock, a kettle, and a ceramic teapot. The base of the unit is made of urea formaldehyde base, the light surround is polypropylene, and the handle of the kettle is phenol formaldehyde. The concept of the tea maker was patented in 1934 and put into production by B.V.C. which later became Goblin Ltd. Production stopped during the 2nd World War but the design came back into vogue in the 1960s.
