Description
A partial card of Linstar brand collar supports, made in England circa 1950s. Some collar supports are sewn in place, others are inserted into a stitched chanel at the back of the collar tip to provide additional structure and removed before laundering. These examples are of the type inserted into a stiched channel. The card contains five suports but may have contained 10 or 11 when new. Each support is 51mm long and 5mm wide, with rounded ends. Measurements given are for the card.
