Hogilo

Description

A Hogilo hedgehog house, made from plastic recycled from agricultural waste and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) plywood. Designed and manufactured by Wildlife World, a UK company that creates wildlife friendly products. In the shape of a hedgehog, the hogilo has an internal tunnel that leads into the nesting box, with built in ventilation and a lift and twist lid to enable easy cleaning. For use all year round but particularly intended for hibernation over the winter months, MoDiP has sponsored two further examples which have been placed around the AUB campus. This model is recommended and sold by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society.
